This is a very modern design, in the sense of the mid-century, very similar to a Parson's table that I had as a student. A true Parson's is too strict for me now, so I added some enhancements.
I decided to use some spectacular figured Bubinga, "waterfall bubinga" and I added interest with the inlays. I decided that feet would look good, so I inlaid triangles at the bottom of the legs as a simulation that would stay within the concept.
The size is 20" W x 20" L x 18" H.
The bubinga veneer on top is often referred to as "waterfall" because of the deep, three dimensional curls. It reminds me more of waves, hence the name.
