Life can be a bumpy road or a scenic route. I’m more of an
optimist, so I choose scenic route. This cabinet was made with lacewood, which
has a beautiful figure due to the extensive flecking. The quartersawn (radial) and
flatsawn (tangential) figures differ, the former having the bigger flecks and
the latter having a more delicate lacy pattern. The doors of this cabinet open
along the curve. The curve is made of Peruvian Walnut, very very dark when
finished.
